Set up in 5 steps

About 5 minutes in total. No web form needed; everything happens on Micup.

  1. 1. Add the bot

    Press "Add the bot", pick your server on Micup and approve the requested permissions.

    Estimated time: ~1 min

  2. 2. Type /setup

    Run /setup (or /kurulum) in any channel of your server. The owner or members with Manage Server can use it.

    Estimated time: ~10 sec

  3. 3. Answer the questions

    The bot asks for a description, tags, an invite link and the vote panel channel. Check the summary and confirm.

    Estimated time: ~3 min

  4. 4. Approval

    The MicupList team reviews your submission; you are notified of the result on Micup and on the site.

  5. 5. Collect votes

    The vote panel is posted; members earn the voter role as they vote and your server climbs the monthly ranking.

No administrator permission

MCPList only asks for what it needs to do its job. It cannot manage your server, kick members or delete messages.

Requested when adding

  • View Channels

    To see the channel it posts the vote panel and log messages in.

  • Send Messages

    For command replies, the vote panel and vote announcements.

  • Embed Links

    So the panel and announcements show up as tidy cards (embeds).

Only if you use that feature

  • Manage Roles

    Only for the voter role; the bot only gives and removes the role you choose. Its own role must sit above that role.

  • Add Reactions and Read Message History

    Only for the vote panel, so the bot can update the panel and find its own message.

Administrator is never requested. A bot does not need access to everything, and you can take any permission back from its role in Micup at any time.

Frequently asked questions

Does MCPList cost anything?

No. The bot, vote panel, roles, log channel and listing are completely free. Premium only adds extra visibility and customisation to your listing.

Do I need the bot to list my server?

Yes. Server listings need MCPList in the server; the bot keeps your listing current by reading the member and online counts.

Why doesn't it ask for administrator?

Because it doesn't need it. The bot only sends messages, shows cards and (if you want) gives one role. Fewer permissions means less risk for your server.

Who can run /setup?

The server owner and members with the Manage Server permission. The submission is tied to the MicupList account of whoever runs the command.

When are votes reset?

The monthly ranking resets at the start of every month (Turkey time) and the previous month is archived. Your total votes and badges are kept.

Can I add my server from the website instead?

Yes, use the add-server form. It asks for the same details; /setup just lets you do it without leaving Micup. Use the web form
